Earlier this month the Mavericks family came together at Sopwell House to celebrate the 2016 season. Over 150 fans, staff and players from all of the Mavericks squads mingled together on the lawn before the evening began to discuss the highs and the lows of what can only be described as a hugely eventful season.

This evening was designed to recognise the commitment and achievement of the athletes across all the Mavericks squads right the way from the U13 and U15 Development teams through to the Youth Team and ultimately the Netball SuperLeague Squad. On what was a fantastic night remembering an eventful season, we are delighted to say that several Turnford girls picked up awards.

Coach Kat Titmuss said: “I was so proud to see such a great celebration of Turnford girls at the annual Hertfordshire Mavericks awards. All girls at our club strive to be the best they can be and it was simply awesome to see them doing so well in our much loved super league franchise – Mavericks. The awards included: ”
