Turnford member Charlotte Rose was recently appointed to the England Netball Board and at the recent 2015 Goalden Globe Awards was made an Honorary Life Member. She is one of the youngest members to achieve this at the grand old age of 24. This award was given to her for the work and commitment she has given to youth, not just with our club, but also as Chair of the Youth Advisory Group within England Netball.
Charlotte is a Level 2 coach and is currently coaching the Year 3 age group at Turnford. She helped to launch the Hertfordshire Youth Netball Group and is currently a PE teacher at St Albans School.
Turnford Head Coach, Carole Titmuss, asked Charlotte to share her thoughts on receiving this award. “It is something I was aiming for in about 40 years,” said Charlotte Rose. “To say the least I am in shock. Being an honorary life member is an absolute privilege and I will continue with my work within youth netball as it is something that I am truly passionate about”
Everyone at the club is incredibly proud of you Charlotte!
